About Bari Rhys

Bari Rhys

Bari Rhys is an artist and photographer who works in a variety of styles and mediums. Growing up on a farm raising alpacas, Rhys is often drawn to the beauty in nature and animals. Over the past decade her work has included commissioned animal pastel portraiture, logo and ad design, both commercial and fine art photography, pen and ink drawings, and acrylic painting. While the media and styles cover a broad range, a love of natural, dynamic light, and contrasts frequently influence her work in all areas. In 2017 a wrist injury made gripping painful, and limited her ability to work with a brush or pen.
