Description
Every Spring our pastures are filled with buttercups, and while the animals don't eat them, they make a lovely color contract to the vibrant greens of the season. The young alpaca I use in this painting is named Piccadilly, and she is especially fond of rolling around in them! The medium is an open acrylic which I applied with my fingers.
